Quietest Muffler

I have the POS megan racing catback and its finally pissing me off (not to mention pulled over 3 times now for it)

Just looking to chop the muffler and replace with a much quieter one (2.5")

I miss the engine sound and when the S/C goes on i want to clearly hear the whine.

Just go to an exhaust shop and tell them to put their cheapest 2.5" muffler on. It always sounds the quietest from my experience.

I want to put a stock LSJ one on, but isn't the inlet on that .25?

Absolute best sounding muffler, deep grumble at idle, absolutely silent while cruising, and nice bark when you got WOT is the Stainless Works Turbo Chambered muffler.

Guaranteed never to "burn out" and get louder, etc.

Direct swap for your Mugen (center in, offset out): http://www.stainlessworks.net/produc...tlet-5-x9.html

They also sell it in polished.

The LNF muffler does not sound good on a LSJ. Its "okay" at cruise and idle but gets loud and raspy at WOT.

Not yet There was another member that posted a vid in the exhaust sticky and it sounded amazing, that is the muffler he was using

I plan to get that muffler with this exhaust kit (in 2.5" stainless): 05-10 CHEVY COBALT EXHAUST TUBING KIT

But, I'll re-use my stock resonator!

Or just this kit http://www.ottperformance.com/store/...ler-54p233.htm and should be pretty plug and play

Should be a pretty slick sounding setup I hope

I know who you are talking about.

I know another guy who bought one and it was ricey. But he was running a cat-less dp. I was hope that a few more people had given SW a try.
