Random wire sitting under pas headlight

Alright so I have a 06cobalt ss/sc and there is a random connector sitting under my pas headlight and everyone I've asked has no clue what it goes to so I need a little help

does your DIC show the outside temp? if not thats what it is. pics would help.

the temp sensor is on the other side i cant figure out how to attach a picture but the ext. temp shows up and the corrector just sits under the headlight and its the same on the buddys 2010 and we cant figure it out

nevermind figured it out its the maf connector that explains why is been running like crap
