Real Quick Price
Real Quick Price
Hey guys, just went to the dealer today. Iplan on buying an LT manual with spoiler - black w/ black sport cloth.
He told me he'd sell it to me for 15398, 200 over invoice.
I'm planning on putting down 9500 and then financing the rest.
Does this sound like a fair price to you? Just want to double check with you guys. 200 over invoice.

Depends on the options. Under normal circumstances 200-300 over invoice is a fair deal. Just don't let them wrangle you into the "mandatory" delivery fee, as it's not really mandatory. Otherwise I wouldn't pay over invoice for it. If they give you any hassle over it, go to another dealer.
Remember that the dealer also gets a 1-3% holdback fee from the manufacturer. It's like a rebate for the dealership when they sell the car. So even if they sell it AT invoice, the dealer is still making a bit of cash.
