Question Rear Windshield Spoiler??????

I love the way these look. Anybody know if they make a rear windshield spoiler for a Cobalt? Ya know, the ones that mount off the edge of the back window.....

You dont need one....they are for rally cars....they creat a vortex which increases air flow over the rear wing at lower speeds creating greater downforce. Thats why you only see them on STi's and EVO's

Are you talking about the tinted plastic that goes around the top edge of the glass?

um, front wheel drive vehicles dont need a "wing" or rear spoiler, it defeats the purpose. You want downforce on the front of the car.

actually that is incorrect.... you want downforce on the rear as well so when you are cornering or just driving straight, you have something helping you to stick to the ground. doesnt matter if its FWD or RWD the wing has one purpose... the wing doesnt do anything for you when you are launching.

not all cavaliers and sunfires have them , actually most dont

the visor was made for the coupes only to help shade the rear seat from the sun

tinted windows are a better idea
