Guys with boost guages, what is the peak boost that you seen with your RL?

FYI we have a hub and pulley system on our RL. The bigger pulley makes about 14.5psi and seems to be doing well with the factory fuel system. We are going to try the smaller pulley tonight and see how the air/fuel ratios fairs and what kind of boost we make.

Sweet. I'd imagine with your piggy back system you are seeing some nice gains from the increased boost. Any cooling problems or improvements you have made?

i'm assuming you took care of the boost limitation, and that's why you see more boost with a LARGER pully than stock, correct??
How much did the stock pully make after getting rid of the boost bypass?

KEEP US POSTED.

Sorry for the mis-understanding. Both of the pulleys are smaller than stock, but the larger of the 2 smaller pulleys is making 14.5psi peak. The bypass is mearly the solenoid on the driver's side of the valvecover. Pull off the vacuum line from the firewall side of the solenoid and plug it.

I can’t wait to see the finished project! What are all your goals for the RL? Also, post some pics when you can.

Ahhh much better, thanks. I was trying to figure out how you gained that much by increasing pully size. nice work.

Any heating/cooling problems yet?i figure you can get 16psi out of that blower before you start running into problems.

You should get hat puppy on the dyno, do some runs with different pulleys.
