I just passed 11,000 and have had (knock on wood) no problems. At this rate it'll be about 10 more years till I pass 100k, I'll get back to you then.

Most of the issues I have had came from modifications that I did. I do have an ignition problem that I hope to fix soon, and I will say that the rotors warp for alot of people. I've got 51K right now and if I had to make the choice of whether to buy it again, I would.

my car seemed good at first
but i've had many front suspension parts replaced
i drive it nicely, it was drove down a 1/4 mile track twice, and autocrossed for 3 runs
so i don't know, i think it's always hit or miss

2008 LS with over 12000miles and except for the electric power steering acting up(problem was fixed under warranty) there have been no problems. I haven't had a single problem with the power steering in over 7K miles now.

I put 74K on my last ss/sc before it got totaled...the 2nd gear syncro in the non-LSD tranny was going out.

Bought another ss/sc with 26K miles on it, has 51K on it now with all listed mods and no real problems, other than a sunroof leak and 2 accidents. People seem to like to rearend the silver ones...

im struggling to think of a time iv heard of someone say "chevy" and "reliable" in the same sentence. unless its talking about how unreliable chevys are.

my personal experience is not to pretty. and would not buy another chevy. I LOVE my car and am basiclly emotionally attached to it, tht dosnt change the fact tht it rattles to death and has had multiple problems.

Also, most peoples problems are mod related, the cobalt likes to stay stock.

69k 05 ss. Shitty front rotors. clunking front end, still after replacing front lca bushings, struts, and strut mounts. Maybe its the sway bar bushings. And 2nd gear sometimes doesn't go in, and have to shift twice.
