removing blower vent

removing blower vent

i was wondering if someone could tell me how to remove the blower vent inside the car right above the radio? i messed up the fins inside and need to put them back were they belong? i don't need to take both out, just the one closest to the driver if possible, any help is apprecitated thanx

can anyone help me on this??

The proper way is to remove your dash pad. The vent is mounted from behind the pad.

I thought the front plastic piece would just pull out... like the trim pieces do?

I think the front piece on the center vent is actually made on the dash pad itself. It looks like it should come out but it's just a molded piece of the dash.
