No other way than pulling. Start with the black plastic under the steering wheel and pull that down but go easy because of the wire in the hideaway cubbie hole leading to the trunk popper. Then pull off the silver pieces beside the steering wheel and the piece above the dash. Also be careful with the piece above the dash as it is long and you don't want to bend it. Then the radio piece is ready. It all just snaps back in.

what I do is pull the silver piece off over the glove box...gota yank on it pretty good. The I do the piece next to the steering wheel (right side). Also pretty tough. Then you should have no problem getting the one on the radio off...too easy

I used a tiny little prybar as a removal tool. You really have to yank hard to get those trim pieces off. I thought I was going to break a few of them trying to get them off. You will likely need to replace some of the metal clips that hold the trim on as well, so you may want to get some and be prepared.

Ya i just did mine a short while ago to paint my dash. I started with the long piece over the glove box. When the first clip let go i swear i broke something lol. It's loud and doesnt sound good. But you get used to it as the pieces come off.
