What are you looking for? I have it... but it's copyrighted material and I don't want to post it for that reason.

my oldman is going to trace the relays so i can get fogs to stay on with highbeams. he said that where the fogs turn off and back on automatically, its a relay doing it.

I believe that there is a thread somewhere on here about keeping the fog lights on with the high beams. Check the How To section.

I'd rather not be blinded by some driver with fogs and high beams on at the same time. There's a reason why its wired up like that. It's illegal is it not....

Just use a relay with the highbeam signal wire and ground for the coil connections, and 12v batt to foglight wire as the contact connections of the relay. Make sure to tap into the foglight wire, not cut it or else it will ONLY come on with you highbeams.

schematics would be nice so i knew what wire was high/low beam, unless someone knows.

Any idea of what kinda relay will be needed? or even better can someone PM me the schematics so i can have it done without adding and tapping wires?

I can see just fine with fogs and low beams on just fine. As a matter of fact, i never use my high-beams. If i do, they're off well before it'll blind you.

I don't see why your calling me an ******* that high-beams people, when you're looking to wire up your fogs to stay on with high-beams.. No offense, but that seems dirty to me...

Just thought i'd voice my opinion, sorry to offend you

Just a regular 12V automotive relay, 30amps or whatever you can get. It won't be pulling much current at all. Just make sure you fuse the line coming from the battery (try 5 amps or something). Not sure of wire colours off the top of my head, I'm sure someone else can chime in here or else I can check for you tomorrow evening. I believe green with white stripe is highbeam, and fogs are purple (coming from down where your foglights are, obviously). Pull batt from the post on the fuse panel, and there's a ground stud by your drivers headlight on the cross member facing the ECU.
Should be all you need I believe!

No i wasn't calling you a ass, its just i do alot of night driving and haveing the highbeams high is better for distance, however, you loose the first bit. This is where the fogs come in. i would never blind people.

Some guys in halifax have lows and highs on at the same time and your right it hurts the eyes, but i bet they can see great.

Basically a relay will work. You can tap a power source into the stock fog wiring so that the bulbs illuminate when the high beam trips the relay. If you're not comfortable cutting the stock wiring, you can make an adaptor that allows normal BCM use of the lights, as well as allow the relay to work without cutting up the stock wiring.

If using a fuse tap in the one of the high beam fuse slots doesn't work as a good turn on wire location, you can tap the high beam wiring to get a turn on feed for tripping the relay.

Make sure you put inline fuses in the custom wiring and add a kill switch if your providence requires safety inspections (Car will fail if fog lights remain lit with high beams.)

Why do you want your foglights on with your highbeams?

I dont see why you would need extra light output when your high beams are on, when its clear, they do the trick pretty well.

N Usually when you "need" your foglights, its foggy, and when you use high beams in fog, its usually worse.
