rev limiter

is there anyway to take the rev limiter off the automatic? it revs to 4grand then stops

if anyone can help me please do

why is that bad. why do you have to rev over 4,000?

just if someone revs it up next to me mine stops at 4000 and they can tack it out

There's no point in doing that to your auto. The limiter is there for a reason.

ya i have a real nice sounding exhaust and want to be able to show it off i mean we gotta rep the cobalts

i have pasesetter header and a full DC Sport exhaust

if you rev to about 3500 and throw it in drive it revs over 4000, its a trick i learned to bypass the rev limiter...

where are u located? u shouldnt let it go over 4grand in neutral... build the valvetrain like i am doing...... https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/general-cobalt-68/2-2l-rev-limiter-105802/
