Rev limiter

I have an 08 TC tuned but it's hitting 7200 what is the rev limiter suppose to me set at ? Anyone ?

Im not sure since i have an lsj but i believe i read some
of the lnf guys said they no lift shift at 5.8-5.9 so im guessing u should be shifting around 6k.

I think stock it was set at 6250. You had to nls by 6k with the laggy tach or you bounce off the stock rev limiter.

Stock is around 6200 or 6300. I believe GMS1 raised it to 6500. I wouldn't go higher than that. People were breaking stuff.

im pretty sure you have to retune to set the rev limiter lower. HPT or maybe trifecta

On the stock turbo there's no point to revving g past 6100. Unless you have E, then 6500.

I would get a retune to lower that limiter tho, you don't want your car bouncing off 7200 in first gear pulls or launches.

is there even a point to redlining? I thought past Xrpm(before the redline) the powerband was decreasing? why do people hit redline I dont get it?
