Just curious if anyone know a way to do a reverse license plate lookup, or has access to do one? Plates are ontario, canada.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got rear ended this morning by someone who spoke no english, didn't have a license on him, had no insurance on him, kept mumbling kid car. Police wouldn't come out becuase it was less then 1500 bucks, and no mess on the road. All i could do was give him my phone number to call me when he gets home. He didn't even know what his address or number was.

And according to my insurance it could take about 4 months to find out who it is. And my car being a lease i need to get it fixed.

i hate to say it you might have some trouble now, unless there was a camera in the area that caught it or witnesses

Take his plates to the police and see if they can do something?

Yeah did that already, thats from what my insurance place said is the bottleneck in it. I guess it takes the police a while to do it.

If police won't help, take him to court. Small claims. I'm sure Canada has a somewhat similar procedure to us folks in the south? Let someone else look up the plate for you - the fact you have the plate, and matching marks on both cars, should be enough for you to win. Unless he fixed his already...

yeah you have to move quick, these days with ebay and junk yards, he could fix that car quick and you would never know.

Next time dont leave the scene without some proof, pictures with a cell phone, anything
