Which is the right way for ETD...

I installed my ingalls ETD, and it seems to be working fine, but recently I have seen a few posts that make me question which is the right way to install it.

I have seen people with the nut and bolt installed in a different sequence..

-OR-

The two pictures differ by which side the nut goes on.

One way, the bolt is touching the bracket, and the other way, the bolt is touching the piston. It seems that it works both ways, so maybe it doesn't matter, but I thought I'd double check just incase...

Thanks
