RIP 08 Cobalt Ls
She did me well until 10 pm Wednesday night when a 2008 toyota carolla pulled out in front of me when he had the red light and i was going through the green at 55 mph! My whole radiator is split in half. My heat exchanger is missing , my intake made it some how? damn injen making quality parts :P but needless to say she's totalled and i got out of the hospitol at 3 am thursday morning. I have a bruised spine and dislocated shoulder with a dislocated thumb. My question is for you is that, 1. Should i go SC or TC? 2. What year should should i go SC if i do.

That really sucks dude. But it sounds like your ok... It definately could have been worse. I sure as hell they charged that crazy bitch with quite a few crimes....
I say any Cobalt you go with is awesome! But if you have the money, just get the SS/TC, it's new, & it's pretty damn fast!

You are lucky if they cited the guy in the Corolla. I used to think it was cut and dry that someone entering the intersection during the red would be at fault, well, the world is dumb and unjust.
My brother had that happen and every witness at the scene said we back you and that it was not his fault. Then the police came and scared off all the witnesses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A-holes!
What they said was, "oh you witnessed the whole thing eh? so your willing to go to court then?" Of course everyone ran for the hills.
After that, they said the old lady entered the intersection first and that as such she had the right of way... CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT $HIT?
That kind of justice needs to be applied to these same people. I hope the cops that pulled this get tickets for running the red and get photo radar. I hope the people who ran off have their witnesses they desperately need walk on them one day soon. I hope that the old lady crashes through an Old Country Buffet.
