if the airbags went off its 50% 50% .... normally thats not even close enough damage to write off, but with the airbags, it becomes pricy, and it might be tah tah yellow balt.

Average airbag cost is only about 500 bucks.

It can leak if you pull out a driveshaft or bang up the bottom of the pan.

You said a bunch of stuff is messed up under the hood. You didn't try and open it did you? Because if you did, and they find out it will effect your claim.

or damage the radiator since autos usually have a cooler lines into the rad also...
jsut my 2cents..
also from experience the axles don't bend... they just snap

no i didnt pop the hood, i looked through the driverss side fender, im goign to the dealer tomorrow to sign papers and take better pics, i will see if they will pop the hood so i can take some pics, i just hope my new alpine reciever wasnt damaged. i just installed it christmas day, and it was pretty tight behind the receiver

does the cobalt have a safety thing thats automatically shuts off the engine on impact? my car was shutoff with my key still on

we have dexcool antifreeze which is red. also the car isnt totaled but im glad your ok.

the b*tch that hit me said he didn't cross the line and the police report shows him crossing the line, its on i am gonig to miss as much work as poissible and try and get as much pain and suffering as i possibly can. in the picture of the peice of my bumper that was 10 ft behind my car you can see my skid marks in my lane. now its on!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes the cars computer turns off the fuel pump. the only way to get it started is to have it restarted....yeah man it could of been alot worse..and the worse happened to me. my whole car was yeah done. but a new ss 2.4 should be in my hands soon. thank god the car wasnt totalled so u dont have to go thru the whole gettin a new car thing

his insurance company is going to inspect my car to determine damages tomorrow, so it sounds like they are siding with me. HA MILITARY MAN IS GOING DOWN!!!
