must have been that SwEeT ChIp you got haha..... im sorry i had to but i dont know much about tC's other than i prob would have bought one over my car if i had the extra money, they can be quick though with the trd supercharger you can get for em

not to fuel what I think is a pointless thread but, I just posted this story in another thread so I will share again.
this is actually kind of funny but I had a kid in a Tc floor it from a red light next to me today when I wasnt even paying attention. Anyway he just flew right past me and then slowed up until we ended up next to each other on millersport hwy off of 78 (for anyone from wny). Well he screwed around enough until I actually decided what the hell. I gave him a run at about a 40mph roll and I actually pulled on him slightly until about 85 when I shut down. He must of thought it was the highlight of his life because he gave me a thumbsup and shot down the road. I just thought it was stupid as hell and kind of felt ashamed for actually giving in. I drive an automatic 2.2 with the injen cai. I never even thought of racing my econobox, its just good with gas. He had fun but I just wondered if he thought I was driving a SS or something faster because he seemed pretty happy for someone who got beat by a grocery getter with 18in rims.
and wikky, you know i have no reason to make crap up... I have nothing to prove and like the Tc's as well.

Moved to General Discussions. This really doesn't have anything technically to do with the L61 engine.
As for the stats, Toyota just had to lower a lot of their numbers due to the new horsepower rating systems that were started this year. Chevys numbers actually went up. Stock for stock however, I couldn't tell you which car would win. I haven't tried to race any Tc's with my LS. If I did try now, I would no longer be a stock car, so it wouldn't be a good comparison.
