Are sedans worth it?
I love my sedan too, and would never go back to the coupe (and I had one for a couple weeks, all black and pretty). Sedans are sleeper as hell.
Got the parts, going to lower it about an inch, just to tighten up the look, and the tinted (not blacked out) tails are on the way!

Love my little red bitch!

I also love my Sedan too... The cops Never look twice at it. I am tinted, lowered, intake, exhaust. And they still don look...lol. I can fit my 3 kids in at..(so needless to say the back seat has stains all over it) Plus I just love the way it looks...I gets a lot of looks from people who always say I never saw a 4 door SS before. Even better feeling when you smoke Honda's with a car that.. I would hate to say alot of old people drive....lol....But I still love my car
This. Rarity is considered by the model/trim level of the car. There's are millions of mustangs out there, but there are some that are very rare. Just because there are a lot of the base model does not mean that a higher trim level cannot be rare.
The sedan is great. Even if I didn't have a little one, I would still get the sedan. It is a sleeper!!!!! So many people think it is a fake, until they hear it.
You might want to be careful about lowering that much in Toledo, those roads are not that good. It is Ohio now.
When you look at this car, see if it is a G85 car. That is the Limited Slip Diff. That will make a big difference in the snow when you put snow tires on it.

Its is a G85 which is on my priority list, and it has the black and white interior, another thing on the list.... i also wanted a sunroof... how much are those ot install? I should be getting a really sweet bonus Nov 2011 so I might consider a roof and painting it to make it my absolute perfect car
they are better without a sunroof IMO.. i specifically ordered mine without one. From what I read the cobalt sunroofs are prone to leaking/rattling. For what its worth.. every aftermarket sunroof I've ever seen leaked like a sieve.
Touche... I just hope I can get this car now, I've been slowly getting more and more psyched about the sedan... and if this one gets away like the last two I'll be destroyed I think.... I swear I have new car blue ***** now...

I've had 2 balts with sunroofs and neither one of them leaked. In fact I've never heard of a cobalt sunroof leaking. They do all rattle though.
This is kind of a dumb question. No, unless you have two kids and a dog, you don't need a four door. They are cool for hauling the **** around that you are too lazy to remove or if you're homeless. They are great for wringing out a strumpet here and there when you've got the time. It will save on insurance a little (like 6-10 buck). Its all about what you feel is appealing. I personally don't like them. In fact, I don't even like MY car. If you're paying cash for it, I would look at many other makes and models before I decide on getting a Cobalt in general, let alone a sedan version of it. Resale is ****, quality is ****, parts are cheap. If this is what you're looking for, god bless you. Seriously. Turn back now.
Sedans seem to be a bit more "adult" than the coupes. Don't have as much of a boy racer appeal either.
That being said, I still love my coupe, sometimes I wish I had a sedan, but honestly I'm just glad to have an ss/tc in general.
Please don't paint it or tear up the roof if you get it though. Regardless of what people say, sedans are a whole lot rarer than coupes and stand a chance of being a pretty cool old car if maintained over time. Plus they really do look sexy with some tint and an inch off the ride height.

Get the sedan, just the look on peoples faces when you tell them its turbo is worth it, then the look they get when they ride in it is great too, but the best look you get is when someone underestimates it and gets put in there place
i love how people have no idea they made the tc sedan, i took my car to a dealership to get an out of state inspection and the guy kept looking at the front end and the rims and then asks me if its turbo, he said he saw an intercooler and the rims and knew it wasnt normal, he had no idea they made the sedan tc
I've owned nothing but Coupes since 2001. Sedans are definitely, 100% worth it... if you like sedans.
Easier to get in and out of because you can open the door farther in tighter spaces... back seat accesability (Means its easier to scare two more people)... The aforementioned surprise and insurance savings.
A coupe is a coupe and a sedan is a sedan. Different strokes for different folks. That said, I'd trade my coupe for a sedan if I could get it with an RPD and 2010 model year.

Ya, don't cut the roof for a sunroof. I would like one without it, as the thing rattles and they appear to not be able to fix it. All of the aftermarket ones are bad. I have never seen one of those that did not leak.
The sedan is nice in tight parking lots. You can open the doors more to get in, don't have to fight to slide in. And for being a small car, the back seat has ok room. I have an infant car seat in mine now in the center. I could fit someone next to this seat, but they would have to be thin.
