Ok so I was gonna do a trade up to the SS/SC, and well ran into a slight problem. I had bought a house about 6 months ago and as you can guess the wife and I owe a lot on it. So anyways I went in to the dealership this past weekend and my credit score dropped 100 points. They needed about 2k to make the deal. Well since I am in the process of starting school all my money is tied up in school. Stupid military making me start school at 27. So I am getting a second job till the fall to get the down payment together for this but here inlies the question. I haven't seen or heard anything about the 08 Cobalts, are they even coming out with cobalts in 08? I do mean the SS/SC.

Anyway thanks and hopefully in a few months I will be in my own SS/SC whether it be an 07 or 08.

 

sounds like you have a lot on your plate. maybe you should get everything settled before getting a new car. esp. if you need a second job just to do that. doesnt really make sense to me, esp. if you have a car thats fine. (IMO)

 

I concur. Especially with buying a house; I'd have to put that WAY ahead of a car...

 

already have the house, I can afford the payments easy without a second job. I just need it for the down payment. Me and the wife save a ton of money but it goes into retirement accounts and savings for rainy days. She said if I wanted the car I have to get the job, temporarily, to afford the down payment. Because she won't let me take out of savings, lol, like I would anyways.

So does anyone know if they are coming out with an 08 Cobalt SS/SC?
