Shell
All the people I know keep telling me to stop using Mobil and switch to Shell because it's much better. If it's true, how is it possible to find out which one is better? And why? What could be the difference between 2 brands of gasoline? I can't believe my friends are all chemical engineers
Bottom line: Is Shell really the best gas? If yes, why?

They have no ethanol in Premium. So technically more fuel to burn less fillers. I used to use Shell strictly but have been trying Husky 94 octane. Think I've lost a little mileage due to it having up to 10% ethanol.

But I remember that they used to make good sub sandwiches!
The problem with those smaller regional chains is they have usually don't have their own refineries and have to contract to buy what they can from where whey can at whatever price they can. The market is cutthroat so it's not always the highest quality.

I only use shell now for a few reasons. When I travel around the country the number 1 gas station i can fine is shell so instead of mixing all the gasses i run just shell. Also i have noticed that the car runs a lot better. with quicker response and with how it runs. So now thats all i run. The V power

I have a gas app and use whichever is cheapest lol. Premium here has quite the swing in prices. Like today I filled up for $3.54 and there were some stations that were as high as $3.99 for premium. That's almost 50 cents!!! That can really add up.

My dad is an engineer at Exxon Mobil so have used that quite a bit. In my Cobalt I usually just stick to BP or Shell, they are right across the street from eachother, so whatever one has a pump open

I just try to use shell and bp. i only get 91 around here and sometimes it says up to ten percent e. Idk how that can affect my car lol?
Anyway its mostly marketing tactics to talk about their nitrogen enrichment or mobils stp additives etc... Truth is it would probly be better if there was less filler and more gas!
