Shifting problems

Bought my car bone stock besides the Twm short Throw. Cobalt SSTC 2010. Now it sits with full bolt-ons and a Zzp dyno tune at 23psi Stock clutch. The problem I am having when I'm doing a pull and try to shift at redline it won't let me into gear sometimes it will sometimes it locks me out of gear till rpms come down. Could it be the shifter or you guys think it's the clutch? Car has 70k miles

Ill go with the TOB. Its a slave too, so it could be bad. Have you CHANGED the fluid, ever? Could need some new fluid. Is that the only thing going on with it? Does it sometimes grind other gears, or clunk into reverse? Is the pedal hard or soft? Other than normal feeling.. Hard is typical for a bad slave, soft is typical for a bad master. I hope this helps.

when you just drive it normal it goes into every gear smoothly. No grinds or clunks. And no I haven't changed the fluids yet I think I might try that and see what happens

Yes seriously. For $400, you'd expect a flawless unit and yet there are numerous complaints on this board about how we can't tune it so all gears are smooth.
