Which Shocks and Struts?
Hi all,
I have been reading a lot of the old threads on best shocks and struts but just want to see if there's any updated info as to what is everyone's opinion of what's the best now?
I used to have Koni STR-T orange struts on a Mustang I had and absolutely loved them. The Konis were expensive compared to a cheap auto parts store bought shock but they proved to me that you get what you pay for with shocks!
The car currently have stock struts and previous owner has Monroe shocks and Eibach Sportlines he installed.
From what I've read installing front struts on these cars is harder than finding hens teeth.
So what would y'all recommend to me to get?
Info is greatly appreciated!

Doing the shocks and struts isn't that bad. The stock fe5's aren't bad, but if you are used to Koni's and don't mind spending the cash, I would get konis for your car. The fronts are just inserts so you have to cut your factory strut and slide them in.
I would also highly recommend Powell yyz springs as they are an actual handling spring instead of just a lowering spring. Combine the Koni's, yyz's, and add a decent rear sway bar, like a Powell hardcore, and it will handle like it's on rails.
What model do you have?
