shooting flames

catless downpipes really do shoot flames...i was racing with my buddy in his evo 8 some light mods...from a 40 roll i pulled hard like 4 cars...but then from a dig he pulled hard like 4 cars all in all i'm happy with that...but then when i get home he calls me up hes like "yo you know your car shoots flames??" i'm like what no way hes like "yeah when you down shifted there where huge flames both times i was like holy **** out of a cobalt damn"...that was the best news i've heard that my car shoots flames...so anyone that wants to flame just take out the cat.

I have a cat-less downpipe on my full exhaust setup, but I don't know if my cars ever shot flames. It does gurgle and pop like crazy when I idle down though. No one has ever mentioned flames however.

Wow. I guess there are no SRT4 guys around you? Bet you never played GT4 either(it is a simulator). My friend mike(srt4) melted the weatherstripping on a guys maxima when they raced because his side exit was flaming right on the dudes rear passenger door.

SRT-4's are a bit overkill on the flame shooting/popping, lol. Theres approx. 1,000,000 or so SRT-4's in my area (just as many EVO's/STI's though...), and they always look so suprised when they hear me pull up. Just a lil Cobalt

and i don't know it was after a couple WOT runs... but maybe its more noticable on a forced induction car the gm stage tune i have runs rich thats why you see flames its burning off excess fuel dumped by the engine
