i am getting annoyed with the company that i ordered my injectors from. i got a email from them at 6:30am that said they had shipped my injectors that included a ups shipping number for tracking. when i checked with ups at 9:30am it said that the number i put in was not valid. so i call the company and say i got an email saying my item is shipped but the tracking number doesnt work and can they check to make sure they gave me the right number. well then the guy says, sounding kinda annoyed "well we generate our own shipping numbers so that number wont work till ups picks up the package and puts the number into their system" i say "well i got an email saying it was shipped though. this is the point where he get a really snotty tone and says "well its 9:30 in the morning, ups only picks up once a day here" well thats fine and good but dont send me a fricken email that says shipped when it hasnt even been picked up yet then. now its 5:30 in the afternoon and the tracking number still doesnt work. i am not going to say anything yet because they have till tomorow to get it to me, but i paid for overnight delivery and if i dont get it tomorow i am going to be pissed. oh, i emailed them at 5pm and still havent heard back. i havent listed the company because i am not sure if i should be annoyed enough to give them bad press, what do you all think?

 

relax in this day and age "Shipped" means its packaged and the shipping label is put on and its ready for UPS to come pick up. Its kind of a waste of money to pay for overnight when it is only overnight if its picked up before a certain time.

 

Sounds like what is going on with my phone I ordered on Friday with overnight shipping and it still hasnt left there store. I am kinda annoyed as you should be.

 

This is perfectly normal, it can take up to two days for UPS to activate the tracking number. I have even once received a package before the tracking status was available.

 

ahh! thats exactly the reason i havent went off and said "such and such company sucks" ok, lets hope thats whats up then. thanks for the info.
