well my celica to a crap tuesday night, pulled in to the drive way and lost all power steering....so i thought i would call in sick on wed and take the car to my mechanic. i have a broken motor mount and oil on top of my plugs as well time to take it in.

Any ways me and my room mate had the idea hey why not go check out the Chevy dealer. so we call them and they say yeah we got about 150 cobalts on the lot...was like sweet...any SS? a no, they are not going to get any till like september....so we go any ways figured might as well take a look at em see if i like the room in the coupes.

well they didnt lie they had about 150 cars, every color but the one i want to see inperson...Sun burst orange metalic. so i start talking to the 20 year old sales man, was actually a pretty kool guy, had him pull out a base coupe red. didnt drive it, didnt want to.
got in was pretty roomy up front back looked really small in the back...dont think me and girl can fit back there had him pop the hood and was surprised at the lack of plastic like the front end a bit, rear end really needed a wing or somthing.

so we started talking about the SS and he went and talked to the General manager, who had just ordered 2 SS s/c for there lot......expected in september.....so i asked if they had any of the ordering info so i could see options and prices and what not and no.

looks like i have to wait ill september or order one from some where else......

 

going from toyota to chevy huh? That must be the first time ever. well i did the same thing u did, but i drove the car. the one i drove was a sunburt orange base coupe. The color is a new fashion thing. every other car company is making an orange car. i think it looks nice. What year celica do u have? if u have like the 94 style then the back seat is f ing small compared to the cobalt. dont know about the newer gen celica though. I can tell u the 2.2 ecotec (cavalier/cobalt) is faster than a 94 celica gt. dont rice out your cobalt! later

 

well i use to drive a 79 chevy 3/4 ton pick up then my celica its a 92 Gt

 

Damn, then so far a new cobalt would be faster than any car you have owned. I dont know if the 92 gt engines are the same as the 94, but either way any cobalt would be a big upgrade, especially an sssc.
