during the process of removing my subframe my drivers side boot came off the one closest to the trans, so did the clamp. is the clamp a one time use thing and i need to replace it or what how do i get it back on i guess is the question. I'm new to everything transmission thanks for the help!

You can buy a new clamp at an auto parts store, make sure the grease inside the boot is clean and not too wet.

chances are if the boot came off that easily, the cv joint needs to be replaced anyways.

Its much easier to just purchase a brand new axle at napa.

Screwing with the boots is a pain in the *****.
