If I was getting them I'd either want Slotted or Solid. Don't like Cross Drilled besides the looks.

slotted. drilled never seems to last; they warp and crack too much. slotteds last a lot longer... at least i've had a set of slotted for 2 years no issues so far

For functionality (the only reason why I would consider upgrading brakes) they'd have to be solid. Anything else will crack assuming the stock TC brakes fell short of your stopping goals. Just my $0.02. I realize there are people that would get these for looks though and for daily driving slotted/drilled would probably look better.

Everyone that I have known that had drilled rotors had them crack. I have only had solid rotors but I think the slotted rotors look pretty good.

im in between slotted or solid. voted solid just cause you can never go wrong with them. I had slotted long ago on different cars and they seem fine. currently on solid r1 premium rotors. they do job well.

Tried drilled and slotted and went back to slotted. Mine didn't crack however, I noticed a reduction in performance. Only other ones that worked well for me were the ebc blind drill and slotted and for what it is, not really worth the extra money.

I personally love the look of straight drilled. No slots now as for performance I wouldn't know haven't tried a set yet. However they can't be to bad because all of the high end cars run them. Ik I'm probably wrong but just a thought.

Slotted and Dimpled are always a good setup.

Just slotted. Cross drilled rotors are a waste. Slotted/cross-drilled are too thin and create problem. Dimpled is useless.

solid for sure, no reason to have anything else on a car this light. Slotted rotors ruin the ride quality.

I have the drilled r1's on mine, and really like them. I think the drilled ones get a bad rap because people by the cheap ass chinese ones that aren't properly done. My stockers were good but i can stop alot better in wet conditions with the drilled. There is a reason they put them on hp cars from the factory, and they do run cooler.
I had drilled and slotted on my old Z28, and they held up really well, but the slots ate brake pads bad. Wouldnt do that again, and the drilled portion didnt crack on them either.

Won't be able to run them but voted slotted anyways. They just look great and don't crack.

Through R1 the difference between solid and slotted is $38, and that's for two rotors. That's really not that much, and I can't imagine these being sold with a bigger price window than that between the two. I have more than that in just machining of my rotors.

I'd pay the extra cost just because I think slotted looks better.
