All CORSA exhaust kits for the Cobalt are a complete 2.5" system.

Through our research and development, we have been able to dynamically
tune these exhaust kits to move enough air to support over 550hp. This
is because we maximize exhaust gas velocity and due not incorporate any
form of baffle or steel like packing materials. In fact, these are the
same exhausts used on the GM Cup race cars. Your turbo will love this
exhaust when you add it.

As for the difference, Sport options are more aggressive in tone without
any form of resonance in the car when driving. These systems offer a
clean, distinct, and crisp tone without the high pitched sound generally
associated with 4 cyl vehicles.
The Touring is just a more-mellow version that almost equals the stock
sound levels with the exception of wide open throttle. At wide open
throttle is where you hear it.

Both kits perform and flow the same, the option boils down to your
personal tastes. As a suggestion, consider the Sport. This is due to the
fact that in my opinion, the tone really fits the vehicle. (I personally
own 2 turbo 4cyl vehicles) Also, it will become a little bit quieter
when a turbo is added.

this exhaust seems to be of the highest quality and will be perfect for my turbo upgrade and will look nice too while not being obnoxiously loud, i plan on getting this in early feb with my income tax all of it lol

I would like to hear it when you get it done, preferably a before and after sound clip. I would love to do exhaust but scared I will hate it. If I hear it before hand then I'll know.

 

i would hope you get a 3" with a turbo... and alot of people don't even use mufflers with turbos... like the srt's

well, i will see what they plan on doing as far as sound clips but since these are used on the gm cup cobalts maybe you could catch them racing and hear it and i have faith that a professional race car exhaust will be just fine i havent heard clips but im sure i will like it especially if its quiet, and i dont need a 3inch cuz these exhaust are good up to 500 hp or more and i only plan on 400 max

Well... I don't plan to buy anything unless I can hear it first.... $800 is a lot of dough if I'm not happy with the sound.

 

well hopefully ill be able to get some sound clips off my car here in a month or so with intake and exhaust also i dyno with intake and exhaust i ordered my exhaust yesterday from paul and i cant wait

 

Did you get the sport or the touring?

 

i got the touring im going for stealth, the touring is very quiet except at wot and with the turbo on top of that it should be a very quiet car with alot of power

Sound Clips?

I am interested. At first I wasnt sure, but now it looks like Spring time will be Mod time for the SC. Springs, Intake, Exhaust, and Stage 2....

Corsa still hasnt posted sound clips. Does anyone with the Corsa have the capability to make some nice descriptive sounds clips with thier camera?

 

i wish i did but all i can say is the touring is slightly louder than stock and thats only at wot , if you want quiet this is the exhaust for you it sounds awesome and the performance increase is nice, top quality stuff imo
