Some people **** me off...
Someone wacked their door into my car today and left a nice small dent and a mark. I was sooo pissed. Some people have no respect for other people ****. End rant.

I got my first dent a month after I got the car. IIII opened my door into the mirror of my bf's roomie's '85 Caddy. It sucks when you have no one to be mad at but yourself.

park far from everyone or at least 6 spaces from anyone if possible ... if you can take up slightly more than one space at a weird angle so noone attempts parking next to you

he parked next to you to **** you off. one time my buddy parked like 6 inches from a ferrari in his beater work truck. and told the guy he always parks that far away too, just so nobody dents his car.... it was funny

I always park in the middle of B.F.E. too, but probably 5 times out of 10 someone thinks the car looks lonely and parks right next to it. Mine is about 6 weeks old and someone has already managed to scuff my rear bumper cover. Doesn't make sense to me... I mean, pulling into a parking space and getting into/out of your car without hitting someone else's car isn't rocket science...

I'll count myself lucky on this one.... I always try to park beside a curb when I'm in a parking lot, that way the car is atleast protected on one side. Typically doing this can give you another half a foot of parking room on the "exposed" side if you park right up close to the curb (just don't curb your tires/wheels). I also always back into the parking space, or pull through so I don't have to back out into traffic or people. I haven't suffered any damage yet (thankfully).
On a not exactly related note.... I picked up some convex "blind spot" mirrors, and they really help in overall visibility. Parking and manouvering in traffic is a lot easier now.
