Well i was dumb and left my keys in my car after i was done cleaning it and my bat was dead. i jumped started it with my moms mini van and now my speed od. sits at "10" and not 0" now.... any know the problem? i am going to try and disconnect the bat first... but if that dont help any ideas? everything works fine just speed is +10 lol

 

do the battery, if that don't work take it to your dealer

 

Not exactly the same situation, but my dad had a mid 80s grand am and if you touched the gas pedal at all when the engine was off, the speedometer would move and would not drop back down to zero until you restarted the car. I cant remember how he fixed it since it was so long ago, but I would take your car to the dealer if the battery disconnect dont work.

 

Just did the disconnecting of teh baterry and it now sits at 4MPH.. tried restarting tried new fuse... wtf

Ima give it a week first, since i have my stero wired to the front post they will tell me thats the problem so its not under warenty lol

 

Might want to change that first.
