I was pretty supprised to hear that the 08' SS Turbo comes with "Brembo" brake components.
The "SC" Cobalts braking performance is, and has always been, phenomenal by any standard (from 70mph, it's within a foot of a C-6 vette!).
So I'm wondering if GM has always sourced their Cobalt SC brakes from Brembo (as many OEM's do).......and are simply capitalizing on the "name" this time around.
Perhaps they've beefed-up the rotor alloy for better durability? Who knows.
Anyhow, my brakes have always out-performed my tires........so it hasn't been an issue.
I'm currious as to what others think/know about this.

ive only seen the specs on the sema ss turbo, wich could be done up a bit for the show. hard to say if it will actualy come with brembo brakes, forged wheels and y rated tires, it all seems a bit far fetched for a production fwd sport compact car. mabey as an option, however if anything like the brembo brakes on an infinity g35, brake parts will be rediculously priced.

My bear brake kit was ordered only a couple weeks ago, and there was no Brembo kit out for our cars at that time...correct me if I'm wrong, but thats what I was told...so if they come out in 08, I'm gonna be heated.
