SS s/c...son of corvette?

I was thinking how dodge calls the srt-4 the "son of viper"..sonce Gm tried to make the rear end look like a corvette, if the ss s/c should be called "son of corvette"....I have a funny idea. Have a customized plate that says: 2LVETTE ( 2 LITER CORVETTE). 7 is the limit on plates in Az.

Not to mention their has never been a "SS" badge on a Vette. Maybe son a Camaro is more like it - or baby SS.

I think they almost look alike, but almost only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades. And they really dont look like a Camaro. Not a snowball's chance in Bermuda.

Teh first SS ever was a Corvette in 1957, obviously it was a one off car. Never mass produced just a toy for GM people.

MArch 21, 1957 - Corvette SS is launched for management viewing

However, the car was never mass produced. Kind of like the Cobalt SS Concept 272
