ss/sc shifter on 2.4lss?

ss/sc shifter on 2.4lss?

will the 2.0L SS/SC stock shifter fit on the 2.4lSS? reason im asking is because im getting a B&M shifter and my friend is gonna be getting a 2007 cobalt SS 2.4L and we both think that the stock 2.4l shifter looks, will i dont know what to thinka about.

i'm gonna say no, because i don't think the 2.4 has a reverse lockout, and the trannies are different...i could be wrong, though.

whats wrong with it? its at the perfect height and it feels great while shifting...

I also dont think it will match.

would some one with a little info on the subject mind anccering please. i just dont see why it would not fit. (i know the reverse lock out is not on the 2.4) but i cant see the connector box thing being any different,

and the revers lockout would not work, but it would look better than the 2.4 shifter
