I would say, this is why some peaple did not prchase the 2.0, cause they know the potential of this motor turboed, me for one i ll just try to make a killer N/A

Yeah I'll have to agree with everyone else here... if you want fast for cheap, go LSJ. If you are willing to spend some money for speed, go LE5. There's definitely more potential for the 2.4L, but you have to be willing to spend the cash... especially if you want to really push it.... then you're talking about replacing internals, swapping the tranny, etc. Mucho dinero.

I got my 06 SS/SC with G85 for a little over $20,000! But I also had my 05 with 5000 miles on it to trade in.... so I got mine after all was said and done for 17,800! And it's got every option available!

how is there more potential with the LE5? Hahn is also coming out with a twincharge kit for the LSJ, as well as just a turbo setup with the LSJ.... so therefore, there is more potential with the LSJ...i'm not trying to be rude, I just want him to understand the difference between the vehicles.

The twincharge for the 2.0 is going to be killer lots of hp as same as the 2.4 but without the lag. The 2.0 is going to be spanking alot of cars out there

The 240hp turbo they are advertising does not require swapping the tranny and internals, I think you are mistaking it for the one being used on the soltice forums thats pushing over 300

More potentionl because of displacement and vvt. Its easy to swap in forged internals, you gonna retro fit vvt to your 2.0? bore it out?

but how much more hp does vvt and the bore actually give? actual dynoed whp for the 2.4's is in the 140's....isn't the 2.2 in the 130's? I may be wrong, and do correct me if I am. I'm just trying to sort out the information.

2.2's are more 120's but thats besides the point thats na. But when you add FI those .2 liters and vvt help alot more. If we could run the same turbo or supercharged setup on both 2.0 and 2.4 with both forged internals, identical compession and boost and see which one makes more power.

I really liked my 2.4... good all around car... and decently quick. But this new SS/SC... fast out of the box... and tons of potential. I'd say go with the SS/SC if you can afford it.

Well I think you misunderstood me. There's more potential because of more displacement. Yes, it will take internals, tranny swap, etc. to reach the potential safely, but there is no replacement for displacement. Yes, there is support for a twincharged kit on the LSJ coming out now. But with the time, research, and money, a twincharged LE5 would put out more power than a twincharged LSJ. So in the end, the LE5 has more potential.

But as said, it would cost a lot more money. It's certainly not easy to release that potential... I'm not trying to be rude.

Dan (djt81185) just made a good point here too... the 1000HP Cobalt runs an LE5.

There's not a big difference. Front lip, rear lip, and the spoiler is it, but to each their own. Some have said the opposite that they like the look of the NA better. Just goes to show you peoples difference tastes on something so similar.
