well..first there is lots of threads on this... secondly i am not an expert on this either. You do need to run different piping. A common piping that is ran is the dejon hotside piping with the flange of the bov already on it. You can run your bov and bypass valve together at once but your car with never run right inless you either relocate your maf and then tune or recirculate your bov. Running it atmospherically is not the best for your car.. It cause your trims to get out of whack. So there is the jist of it.. if you have more ask..

You will get mixed responses on this topic.. I'm personally not a fan of a bov on our stock turbo setup, but either way, yes you need aftermarket charge pipes with the bov's specific corresponding flange welded on to accomplish this.

You're going to get a decent bov sound if you get a cai anyways, but to each their own

Nice user name btw.. looks strangely familiar..

Well here's the issue on that, you're losing drivability either way you go, a cai throws off your afr, it may not always be a noticeable issue, but it is still there. The same goes for the BOV, you will get a rich spike when shifting if you don't tune for it/run it on recirc. Both directions have issues. I say go with the bov since the stock charge piping sucks anyway and run it on recirc. Read the thread "Thoughts and all current aftermarket intakes" in the LNF section, it will give you a good idea of what I'm talking about.

Even louder than a CAI would be an SRI (short ram intake). I have Dejon's SRI and when you get on it my BPV is as loud as some BOVs Ive heard. Plus you can really hear it sucking air when the turbos spooling, which I like as well.
