Was the comment I got from another ss owner that pulled into a gas station to get gas.
Should i take that as a compliment? Because I wasn;t sure how to take it

I had that from a fellow ss/sc owner a year ago. He said no one would down size from the performance 18" rims to measly 17's (winter wheels) "It takes away from handling and accel", no one would take the wing off (RKSport) "it makes it unstable to drive because it was engineered like the EVO wing"....
I asked him to race my little 2.2 "because it can't be an SS", showed my tails to him even tho his stage 2 "is wicked fast and can beat corvettes"....
I didn't know how to take it either

- Did you order those rims with the car or order them aftermarket from GM?
- Nice grills, how much do they cost and where'd you get them?
- Are those the new Recaros?
My response......*double-check the badge on the trunk*...**** on your face look and walk away

Funny stuff lol......
Everyone in my town thinks i bought new Rim's this year . I just say yep ...... it's kinda the truth. My wife , her sister and I rode an hour to a show one night and her sister didn't even know it was a new car ......She actually asked me how i keep my car so clean and how I've kept the new car smell over the years. 8))

haha, now i've had the opposite...i have the LS with a high-rise and had a guy tell me "woah, nice SS"
yeah, i like the high-rise cuz sometimes when u get idiots with their high beams right behind you, it blocks it out in the rear view anyway
