Stabilitrak addon?

Hi,

I know most of you laugh at it or are happy not to have it in your cars, but after two days in the snow with the car and even with expensive winter tires I can't say it's so good.

Being more powerful and manual doesn't help it, the lack of LSD shows too.

Anyways, back to the topic, this got me wondering about the sabilitrak that's available on '08

could we install it in a 2007? what parts are needed? would it be hard?

from what I understand it uses abs sensors so shouldn't it only be some kind of electronic module to add?

I might consider doing this, also depends on the price of the parts..

sabilitrak

Isn't that only available on GM cars that are all wheel drive?

The traction control that cobalts come with doesn't make it much better. With the open diff. One wheel spins and thats the way it is. The traction control just make that one tire spin less.

oh, so it would help prevent a rollover, but its not going to give you more traction. Better tires are the only thing thats gona do that.

yeah I think sensors are missing on a stock car so it's not just an electronic thing you need to add
