Stealership says $225 to install the stage 2 kit. Does this sound good?

 

Sounds high. Most dealerships charge about 60 to 80 bucks an hour labor.

 

Mine charged me about 300 for mine so I think you are doing great if that is the true price for the install. I say yeah.

 

that's because you got ripped off. so of course this high price will sound good. should not be anywhere NEAR 300. 2 hours labor max. any more and you're getting beat.

 

Two hour labor rate is what I got charged

 

$150 here. 1.5 hours labor

 

I paid $103 install for STAGE 1..... add the pulley install and $225 doesn't sound that bad!
ask if they have done one of these before you have them do it

 

what dealership did u have yours done at i live by chicago and am looking at having my stage 2 installed?

 

Once i save a few bucks up to get the stage 2, my dealer said my labor fee would be 240. of course they are going to charge me the full 750 bucks for the kit its self. Is there any where else i could get it cheaper ?

I took it to CED(crate engine depot aka Lattof Chevrolet) in Arlington Heights.... it was a 1 hour drive for me, but worth even penny in peace of mind!!!
