Just curious if anyone who ordered their stage 2 still had thier emissions sticker lying around, that would be willing to part with it. California is pretty **** about the whole modding car thing and im trying to get some emissions paper for my "stage 2" cobalt

which sticker is that? the guy at the dealership told me to put it on too but i don't even know which one...theres like 2 that look similar that could be it

 

it just says something along the lines of the gm stage two kit is emissions legal. i forget what it looks like but its like 2 inches by 2 inches.

how would california even know? is it added by the dealer to the VIN or something? i gotta smog my car tomorrow and i'm stage 3+, i think i'll still pass, and if not money talks.

but as far as getting pulled over, cops have no idea about cars and superchargers, they look at Exhaust components and anything that greatly alters the emissions, i've never heard of a cop busting a SC car for mods besides Non= CARB legal intakes and exhausts...

oh and the dealer cant give you one???

they sure do. I've already been reffed before i was even supercharged. i dont need to be reffed after im supercharged and then royally fucked because they tell me my s/c setup isnt carb legal. i'd just rather avoid the trip to the ref all together by showing the cop the carb sticker if a situation should ever arise. Cops are bored around here and will pull you over just to pop your hood.

Yeah, i could probably get away with just having them think its a ss/sc to begin with, but you never know. A stage 2 sticker would just help me sleep a little better at night lol.

I know what sticker you are talking about, it is a little white sticker that says the GM stage performace kit has been tested and approved 50 state legal. I can post up a copy of the sticker when I get home if that will help.
