Stalking this SS/SC PA ---$16'995

I spotted a Red ss/SC on the net 75 miles away but it wont say where and the phone keeps ringing so I asume the dealers are closed for the day ...ITs almost 8pm IF my ls is worth $14-15 and i lease through GMAC how would i go about trading my car in and financing it again?

This is what i did when i had i traded inmy celica for the cobalt, do this, i owed about 11grand on my celica, which only had 24, xxx miles when i traded it in, go to the dealer tell them you want the cobalt, but dont tell them how much you owe on your current car, they will give you a trade in value for your car, and if its more than what you owe, which in my case was, they gave me 12,500 for my celica, they will call the dealership where you bought you car, in my case darcars toyota, and go threw the paying off of the old car, then i had a lil for a down payment for the cobalt, and everything worked out well.

What year is your LS? I got 14,500 for mine from insurance but that was 5 months ago, and it was the top model for ls in 05... Sticker was like 18.995

one thing to think about is this 99% sure is an 05, and gmac doesnt lease 05's as i found out. i was looking to save a few $$ by going with an 05 with 300 miles on it but GMAC doesnt lease 05's with the 06's out, and this was back in January. So you may only be able to do traditional financing on teh ss s/c

What you can do...

Take an SS/SC base model, lease it for one month to receive the Lease rebate from gm, then buy it one month later by financing through a bank... saves you a ton

If you throw in the supplier/gm discount you can save a ton! I got my 18.995 ls model for 14.7 after rebates I think - 2750 for lease rebate + 1200 or so for supplier + LT fees

hey italstalnprd86 what you should try to do is find out the dealer price for our cars so when we negoitiate w/ the dealership we know how much they paid.

dealers make no money on new cars, ask anyone... at least not small local dealers... i know we dont, i got my ss/sc last year, stickered for 22, employee discount took it down to about 20, plus $1000 off from gm credit car points, and i dropped $3500 on the desk in cash as a downpayment.... i pay $180 a month for the car, and im buying it after 3 years.... shes almost a year old! we make nearly all our money on used cars.... big dealerships are different we are small, maybe 1 mill to 1.5 mill in inventory....

id say to be safe, dealer pays maybe 3-4 grand less than sticker.... i will look at an invoice this weekend when i am home, and let you know about how much the mark up is..., you guys are paying less now than i did a year ago with the discount..... i should have waited, but i couldnt... i needed that car, ever since the first time i sat in one... lol also, the dealer pays advertising which ads up on new vehicles too..... **** aint cheap

I doubt on trade in you will get 14-15 on your LS, i would think it would be closer to 11-12

yeah, i agree with that... ss with decent miles would be 14-15.... once they leave the lot, the value goes way down....
