stock hood weight.
i am looking into buying a hood so i can cut it. theres one on ebay. so i asked the guy the weight and he said 45lbs. theres no way to be sure thats the weight untill i get it and weight it. but i thought i would share it with everybody.

well my carbon fiber hood is 40 pounds and my stock hood didnt seem much heavier so thats probably about right, i could go weigh my stock hood later if you really wanna know.

Is your carbon fiber hood really 40 pounds??? seems like it should be much lighter than that.

yeah im going to go pick up the hood next weekend. then i will know the weight for sure. but 40lbs sounds like alot for the c\f hood.

GM says that the stock hood weighs 31.35lbs.
