Stone smacked windshield at like 80mph.

Driving to work this morning on 287 and this rock the size of a golf ball flies from over the other side of the highway and smack my windshield. No cracks thank god. But 3 little tiny light chips on the pass side of the windshield. Anyone know of anyway of either buffing them out, or filling them or anything that can be done?

yeah. glass shops can repair that. they use somekind of clear liquid that fills it in and dries like glass. its cheap too.. probably less than $20, and it only takes them 5 minutes.

get it done ASAP!! the longer you wait the less likely they can fix it... I would call an autoglass place, they should be able to repair it if they are small chips

Around here we have a chain of stores that just do auto glass. It's only about $10 a chip to get it fixed and you can't even tell where they patch them. You don't even have to leave your car with them if you're busy. Just tell them where you work(or even go to school) and they come and fix it while it's sitting there.

I think it all depends on how it hits the car. The rock kinda skimmed my windshield, luckily.
