Stupid 02 Sensor Question :X

I need to replace my upstream 02 Sensor. Is there a certain sensor or are both 02 sensors the same? Part number?

I ordered mine from Rock auto. They have a pretty good menu system for part selection.

I got quoted $90 for rear o2 sensor, it's a bitch and throwing two codes 0036 and 0037, doesn't affect performance just annoying ungodly yellow light on the dash. They are both indeed different sensors.

Upstream and Downstream are two different sensors.
Just go to your local auto store and either grab an AC Delco or NGK direct replacement.

Don't think there's a way around it, unless you get it used

I don't know what he means by upstream lol exhaust travels downstream from engine to the tip :-p but I think he wants the rear.

Upstream is pre-cat and what the ecu uses to read afr, downstream is after cat and just reads cat efficiency Sp? The op said upstream in 1st post, it will prob be expensive as lnf's have wideband
