A suggestion that will (hopefully) bring fond memories over time...

For each new car you buy, get and keep the glossy car brochure for that year. Start a collection for each new car you buy.

(for all you people that bought 2006 Cobalts, hurry to your local dealer before they trash all the 2006 brochures. Usually some reps keep some old ones in their desk)

 

My Grandad had a GM car brochure collection that spanned for something like 40 years. He had one for every model in every year. He donated it in the late 90's to Kettering University, formerly General Motors Institute. I wish I had started something like that because I had a good collection as a child.

 

I'm collecting every year of the cobalt. I also have some rare plates...
