Supercharged 2.2

This is a monumental request for any 2.2 or 2.0 owners, and I would greatly appreciate everyones help. (yellowshowbalt should have exactly what im looking for if he sees this thread) I need a complete list of everything I need to supercharge and intercool my 2.2l. I already have many of the required parts, almost all of them in fact, and am mainly concerned with making sure i have all the correct hoses

here's what i got

M62 Supercharger w/3.4" (custom) and 3.0" (ZZP) pulleys, belt and throttle body, intake manifold with intercooler, Mustang Cobra heat exchanger w/ new BWoody mounting bracket, new intercooler pump, new fluid reservoir, (4) 42lb/hr fuel injectors w/ wiring harness, both idler/tensioner pulleys, new SS/SC washer fluid reservoir, new factory hoses, SS/SC air intake box, along with many miscellaneous bolts and washers and hoses....

also, ive been hearing it wont fit with the stock alternator, and i need the ss s/c alternator...is there any truth to this?

you may not need the s/c alternator. the s/c alternator spins counter clockwise but the stock one may be able to work counterclockwise. will find out soon!

How about your internals??
I heard the internal on the 2.2 are weak and wont handle the boost well.

The 2.0 internal are stronger to handle the boost.

Just my .002

rods are rated at 250hp, pistons are somewhere above this number, tranny is rated for like 230tq, with a tranny cooler though it can prolly take up to 300tq

i believe the build guide has the stock internals tested to 250hp not sure what the breaking point is. They do recomend replacing the factory rods and pistons if you want to go over 300hp and thats not 300 at the wheels that 300 at the crank. If you use the internals that i used your engine will be rated to handle 500hp at the crank. Our factory crank is good to 500hp according to the build guide and they have had it working on a 600hp aplication but they didnt say if the crank broke or not at that point.

im aware....ill probably be pushing around 230whp, so 250ish crank...the rods can take it easy...they didnt even snap until 283hp, and that was under nitrous, not boost...under boost, theyd probably snap at 300

Nice, what about the MAP sensor that mounts on the intake manifold, will the stock one just port over?

You will need to wire in the LSJ map sensor it isn't plug and play.
