supercharged vs. turbocharged question?
ok so i have a 2006 ss 2.0l with 88,xxx miles and theres a dealer that has a 2009 turbo for sale with 32,xxx miles and i want to trade for it. im wondering if cobalts start experiencing bad problems with high mileage or anything and not so much personal preference but is it worth it to have a turbo cobalt over the super? any help opinions or anything cuz im a bit stumped on wether its worth it. i drove it and i like it alot but will that "new" feeling with having a turbo eventually wear off or what? thanks guys!!

definitely do it. the turbo handles better, looks better, seats are better, motor is better and has way more potential than the sc. how much were they asking for it?

I drove a TC when I was thinking about trading, the thing was gutless to a very gently modified LSJ in the bottom end (for obvious reasons).
I've got a 06 LSJ with 5000 miles on the motor, so I'll probably be holding onto it for a while. Besides that RPD in the new Cobalts looks so tasteless, though the suspension does rock but I can swap that out easy enough.

i went from an lsj to an lnf and im extremely happy, lnf feels a lot more solid tho ive never driven the coupe and you have tc and competition mode and the usb port the brembo brakes are a plus until they get wet, could just be mine but when its wet out my brakes blow, but yes it will wear off and you will want to go faster but thats why you add mods or gms1 its enough to wear tires down with the quickness

well I love how stiff it feels and just the turbo sounds way better then the whine on the supercharger but hey that's me. an mine has 88,xxx miles ad they found a guy to buy mine for 12 grand and the '09 has 32,xxx miles and they want 15,499 for it and the guy said he can definitely come down on it. but it's missing the sub, some scratches all around the car and the decked says locked on it but the dealer said they can fix it. what's the stock psi for the T/C cuz it boosted at around 18 is that normal for the turbo?

I say it's your money, and you are the one that has to drive it. Do what you feel you will be happy with. BTW, I love my LNF and it is extremely fun to drive. It has around 32,000 miles as well.
