Swapping Heated Recaro's

a local offered me his G85 leather, recaro heated seats. i have cloth and unheated in my car.

what i wanna know is it all plug and play? i can see that there is a harness end poking out under my seats, and since there is no power seats, im assuming they just used the same harness on all the cars.

he would also be giving me his radio bezel with the switches in it. is there a harness behind mine that i can just plug into the switches?

jordan they are not recaros.... yes i had a g85, but they ran out of recaros in 07.... so they are just the leather ss seats..... but they are heated and blk/blk.... if you wanna see if they are plug and play we need to rip apart your car and see what needs to happen..... so maybe one day lets meet at the shop and we can have a look....

unsure how you will be able to make the stock heaters work, but i'm sure there would be a lot of work involved.

no you got me wrong lol.... yes there is a huge diff in the seats but the back seat is same and door panels.... essentially he want heated seats.... he has cloth interior.... so put in the factory leather seat option and he gets what he wants.... even better.... or he can pay for heated seats in the cloth option.... what would you choose? lol the heating pads alone would cost what im charging him......

he also has no worries about the wire harness coz i have all that if needed....

There is an easyish way of making them plug and play, way to hard to describe online tho, but basically gotta take the harness outta the donor car and
Reinstall in new car, in cloves pulling pins and re pinning on new car

exactly......... ^^^^^^............. the donor car has everything he needs and it will be plug and play just like stock...... he is hoping that wire harness that exsists has the plugs there already tho.... me too actually hahahahha.... but if it is needed we do have all the factory harnesses avail...

yes exactly.... lol i just assume to do it when we have alot of time during the day.... like the weekends.... i am not sure if i have took that harness out yet.... so if we find we need the harness then we can go get the harness out of the car.... and your car will be all nice and warm waiting for warm seats....
