When I swapped my heated leather into a 2010 ss/tc and swapped the tc seats into my 08 2.4 the ss/tc didnt have the harness for the heaters. Everything swapped over otherwise. But I believe he had to add an aftermarket harness to get the seats working. So yes the harness would be added. We didnt check behind the radio/dash but the plugs under the seats were not there.

Should have just got a car with heated seats in the first place. Avoid all the bullshit involved with doing it after the fact. Thats what I did :P

The factory heated leather seats are garbage in the cobalts! I had them and I never regret swapping to SS/TC seats! Single best mod I ever did!

I better get on this haha. I know I'll probably take the seats heated or not, but it would be nice to have the heat.

how'd it go? I just added stock heated seat (KA1) wiring to mine a few weeks ago. I ripped out the entire harnesses from the donor car (body and dash). I got the harnesses from a salvage yard. They charged me bulk price for the harnesses. I spent $20. When I got home, I pulled the heated seat circuit wiring from both harnesses, re-wrapped them and ran them along my existing harness. It took several hours to do. I had to completely disassemble the dash and interior, insert wiring into the BCM, pass a power lead through the firewall and into the under hood fuse block and repin the dash/body harness mating connectors at each end of the dash. It was a PITA but I do enjoy the heated seats! Aftermarket would have been easier but I like doing things as the factory would have done them. If you already have the harness under your seats, you're halfway there!

I bought my car brand new from the dealership. had 12 miles on it. only option it didn't have was heated seats. I told them can you add the heated seat option and just add the price on to the loan, I don't care... they said no it involved too much work..... they must have known, or were just too stupid lol. Either way I wish I had done it over the 7 years ive owned this car

I didn't want to ruin good leather ss seats. Besides. I wasn't all that crazy for em anyway. My opinion is
Recaro > heated butt cheeks> Tc> Sc seats
