Smile Taking Delivery of a New SS Tomorrow

Hi, My name is Mike. I am 23, work at a Mortgage Company. I got a chance by a freak accident to get my hands on a 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS. I put in a deposit when I found out they actually had one but it was not noted in stock yet and I only put a request for a quote the day before and got a call about it the next day, they let me have first crack at it . Now I am taking delivery on Thrusday March 31st (tomorrow) on this car. Way too cool.

I beat out several people to get it first. Nice thing is also, The car is going to cost me $22,400 over 60 months on a 5.9% interest rate.. It comes with a sunroof and no XM or onstar. Don't really need it anyways. The color of the car is Red.

In Michigan I've only seen this car once and it was parked at a business. I will be the first few people to be rolling in the state of Michigan in the SS. I am very excited to drive something that won't still be available to public for at least another 1/2 year.

Right now I drive a 1994 Z4 Cavailer and before that drove a 87 Cavailer RS. Came from v6z24.com forum boards under the name "Cider". Now I have two homes now. Ah! , just wanted to give a shoutout.

By the way I am getting the car from Buff Whalen Chevy in Sterling Heights.

What's available and Programs

There is a $1000 rebate available or 0% for 36 months, 1% for 48 months, 2% for 60 months and 3% for 72 months.

if you are active duty military or national guard, you get $500 Bonus.

Check with your dealer for when these expire, looks like that rate by GMAC is awesome, but if you only want to keep the car 3 years, SmartBuy it - and pocket the savings.

I delivered my second SS yesterday, both we're GMS deals, and according to GM inventory, these are out all over the place and some have already been on the lots over 30 days - so I guess it's JUST ANOTHER GM CAR.... sitting and aging, waiting for the right person to take it away.

There is no rebate or special loan apr via GMAC for the Cobalt SS/SC.

My dealer thought there was because one system said there was but when he went to file for the discount he got computer error telling him there was conflicting info in the computer. After he got it sorted out there was no discount on the SS/SC. I wasn't counting on one anyhow.

The GM website says no discounts on the SS/SC either.

I got 4.9% over 48 months via and outside bank. The finance manager said the car loan rates have been going up over the past 7 months.

4.9% aint that bad considering. Sure it isn't as good as it used to be but interest rates aren't going to stay low forever.

the 0%,1%,2%, and 3% deals are only good on models other than the SS. they just updated the special offers on Chevy.com limited time offer...
For Cash Allowance or APR, take retail delivery by 4/4/2005. For Bonus Cash, take retail delivery by 4/4/2005. For GMAC Bonus, take retail delivery by 4/4/2005. (1)
