Taking off the Intake Mani

How long does it take some of you guys to take out the Intake mani, i took the s/c off before so thats like 5 mintues, but how long on the intake mani?

I've just got a 2.2, but it only took me 5-10 minutes to take mine off, so I assume it couldn't be too different for you.

about a half hour....you need to remove the alternator to get to the bolt behind it...once you get it off you can reach around and feel it.

dam man i really wanna install my dual pass intercooler, but i dont wanna take all it off and mess something up and then i got no car, how can i go about doing this?

i think that seems to be many peoples dilema... wait until you have a day off and start in the morning just incase you run into some minor problems... it may be a bitch, but you will be very happy you did it. good luck

Man, I'm glad I didn't have to do that on top of everything else.

BTW, does anyone have a pic of the 2.0 manifold? I've never seen one, only the 2.2 and the 2.4 manifolds.

thats the thing i never have a day off, everyday is booked with work and school, but the sooner i do that the sooner i can install my stage kit and get her tuned
