Hey guys,

I'm considering a Cobalt for a new car and I have been doing some research. So when I was at the Chevy dealer I sat in a sedan (what i want) and being 6'3 I had to have the seat well back so that I would comfortable and safe to drive. Now preferably all the way back was the best but when I went to look in the back there wasn't even enough room to put your feet down. I was kind of disappointed by that fact that my Cavalier has more legroom back there than the Cobalt. How are the rest of you tall people in your Cobalt?

I might even wait for the next generation cobalt.....

 

I'm 6'2" i don't have a problem at all.

 

i'm at 6'1'', I fit well for that. However, I noticed at track day when i threw my helmet on and gained those extra few inches I had to recline to seat so my head wasn't cranked. The back seat is kinda unless in the coupe, i stuffed 2 people back there for awhile but thats been it.

 

I'm 6'5" I have about an Inch of clearance above my head. I have more room in my coby then in my old explorer.

 

6'2 here.
with the seat lowered i dont have any issues.
as long as you dont position yourself relative to the steering wheel like women do, you wont clunk your head

 

im 6'1" and only 170, i am very comfortable with my non-recaro's.. i have plenty of head room too.

 

6'3" and comfortable, even on extended trips, there people that suffer are the ones in the back seat.

 

So True. no one sits behind me, ever.

 

6'4" and 240 pounds and no issues at all.

 

omg you all are so tall. I would look like a midget next to any of you.

 

6'3" 230 and no problems with it at all, plenty of room

 

im 6'2 and i get in without any problem....surethe back is cramped...but who cares you wont be in the back anyways...and its a coupe so......

 

I'm 6'6 1/2" and i dont have to much of a problem but i cant sit anyone behind me..

 

my bros 6'7" and can fit in my balt with the aftermarket seats and harnesses

 

im 6'0 and i have never had an issue. it all depends on how you like to drive. i dont like to gangster lean in my car so i prefer to drive in a more upright position(better for spontaneous racing). this position wouldnt be good for an extremely tall person though.

unless you have kids and stuff, i wouldnt base your car choice on how comfortable the person in the back will be. its your comfort that matters the most.

6'5 here, its alittle tight but still comfortable

6'3" 250 with recaros no problem however I wouldn't want to sit behind me

 

6'4 265 college lineman....i fit just fine...but i pitty the fool who sits in the back
i tell my friends that my car is a 2 seater

its kinda funny, im a kinda solid built guy, and people often say they dont like how the non recaro seats dont hold you as firm.

i gotta say, at 6'2 and 245, they fit me like a glove. and the recaros i sat in were a little squishy

 

Damn there are a bunch of big ***** in here. But then, I'm probably meaner then most of you so I guess it doesn't matter.

 

im 5'5 and i cant fit at all the seat has to go all the back and i still bang my head haha
